Tweeters require the least amount of power. The tweeter is designed to reproduce only the high frequencies such as 3500 Hz and above. A tweeter can be damaged when driven by low frequencies so you should always use the proper crossover. MidRange: A speaker driver 2-5" in diameter for reproducing the middle range of sound frequencies. The range of frequencies that lie between midbass and the high frequencies. Midbass: The range of frequencies just above the subwoofer and just below the midrange. Woofers: A speaker driver 8-12" in diameter for reproducing low sound frequencies. Woofers require the most amount of power.
